Information collected

If you submit the enquiry form or email TechEvolveAI, the information may include your name, work email, organisation, enquiry context and the content of your message. If you allow analytics, the form may also retain the first landing page, referring site and campaign labels supplied in the link so TechEvolveAI can understand how the enquiry arose. If you choose to carry an assessment result into an enquiry, its score band, priority dimension and score may be attached to that submission; individual answers are not submitted. Basic technical logs may also be processed by the hosting provider for security and reliability.

Why it is used

Responding to enquiries: our legitimate interest in responding to business contacts and assessing whether we can help. Where you ask about entering a contract yourself, processing may instead be necessary to take steps at your request before that contract.
Security and reliability: our legitimate interest in preventing abuse, investigating faults and protecting information. This includes proportionate technical request information and abuse-prevention checks.
Optional analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw using Analytics settings. Declining does not affect access to the website or enquiry form.
Business records: applicable legal record-keeping obligations and our legitimate interest in managing enquiries and agreed work.

Name, email and a message are needed to handle a form enquiry. Organisation, service interest, campaign context and an assessment summary are optional. Please do not include sensitive information or confidential client material. The privacy acknowledgement on the form is not agreement to marketing or analytics.

Service providers and transfers

The website is hosted using Google Firebase Hosting. Enquiry requests are processed through Google Cloud Functions and stored in Google Cloud Firestore so TechEvolveAI can respond and maintain an appropriate record. Gmail is used to send Kevin an internal alert containing an enquiry reference, the time received and an authenticated Google review link. Customer names, email addresses and message contents are not included in that alert. Google and other operational providers may process information outside Ireland or the EEA subject to their applicable safeguards.

Security and abuse prevention

To protect the enquiry form from automated abuse, TechEvolveAI uses server-side validation, rate limiting and Firebase App Check with reCAPTCHA Enterprise. These controls process technical information needed to assess whether a request is legitimate; they are not used for advertising profiling.

Google publishes its Cloud Data Processing Addendum and Analytics data-processing terms, including provisions for international transfers such as standard contractual clauses where applicable. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your enquiry. Hosting in Europe does not mean that every provider operation takes place only in Europe.

Retention and your rights

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, legal obligations and legitimate business records. Online enquiry records are assigned a 365-day retention date. Eligible records are processed by the configured Firestore retention policy after that date. Information may be retained longer where it is needed for a legal obligation or an appropriate business record. Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

Where applicable, you also have the right to data portability. You can withdraw analytics consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. To exercise a right, email Kevin using the address above. You may raise a concern with the Irish Data Protection Commission. This website does not use the readiness score to make a solely automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Cookies and similar browser storage

Optional Google Analytics is off until you allow it. It measures page use, service interest and assessment engagement. Enquiry starts and errors are separate from server-confirmed enquiries. Only a broad service category accompanies enquiry events, not the form contents. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our website tag. Names, email addresses, messages and individual assessment answers are not included in our analytics events.

Analytics preference · needed to remember your choice: techevolveai-analytics-consent in local storage records allow or decline for up to 180 days. We then ask again. You can change it sooner at any time.
Google Analytics cookies · optional: _ga and _ga_* distinguish visits and sessions after consent. The website requests a maximum 180-day lifetime without automatic extension. They are removed from this website when you decline or withdraw permission. Browser restrictions may shorten their lifetime.
Campaign context · optional: techevolveai-attribution and techevolveai-lead-service-group use session storage after analytics consent. They last for the browser tab session, or until consent is withdrawn. Referrer queries and fragments are not retained.
Confirmed enquiry measurement · optional: After an enquiry with analytics permission, techevolveai_enquiry_confirmation is a secure, HttpOnly cookie lasting up to 15 minutes. It supports a one-time confirmation that an enquiry was stored, rather than counting a button click as a lead. It contains no form contents.
Readiness summary · only when you ask to discuss it: techevolveai-readiness-context uses session storage to carry your score, band and priority area to the contact form. You choose whether to attach that summary. Individual answers stay in page memory. The summary is removed on retaking the assessment or when the browser tab session ends.
Form protection · needed for a secure request: Firebase App Check and reCAPTCHA Enterprise start when a protected enquiry or confirmation request is made. App Check caches a short-lived security token in the browser’s IndexedDB. reCAPTCHA may set a _GRECAPTCHA security cookie and process device and request information to assess abuse. Google manages that security cookie’s lifetime. These controls are separate from optional analytics.

You can use the site and contact Kevin without optional analytics. Withdrawing permission stops collection and clears this website’s accessible analytics cookies and campaign context. It does not retrospectively erase information already received by Google. Contact us about a data-rights request.
